The above picture was kindly donated by the son of John Harvey Cox who is to the left of the adult at the front. He failed the Navigators course due to his eyesight, but joined the Merchant Navy as Steward and saw lots of the world before becoming a BOAC Air Steward in 1962, and seeing even more of it! He retired in 1997 and he sadly passed away in 2000.
